Event Booking Policy

At Midway Pool Hall, it is our intention to work closely with large groups to help facilitate smooth and enjoyable group bookings and buyouts.

 

We truly appreciate and value everyone who wishes to host an event with us. However, our top priority is to maintain a positive, fun, and welcoming environment for all of our guests — especially our regulars in the neighbourhood.

 

Due to the complexities of table rentals and the nature of our space, group bookings are not always possible, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate where we can.

 

We do not take smaller reservations (under 25 people) as we strive to keep the venue first come, first served to ensure fair and consistent access for everyone.

Midway Pool Hall – Event Booking Policy


1. General Policy

First come, first served for all guests and groups under 25 people.

Reservations are only accepted for large groups of 25 or more under specific conditions outlined below.

All reservations and buyouts are subject to management approval and availability.

2. Large Groups (25+ Guests)


Thursday – Saturday (5 PM – Close)

No large group reservations (25+) are permitted during peak hours.

Exception: Full venue buyouts may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Sunday – Wednesday

Group reservations of 25 or more are welcome.

A $500 deposit is required to secure the reservation.

Groups under 25 guests remain first come, first served.

Additional Large Group Policies

No reservations will be taken after 8:00 PM.

A maximum of 3 tables may be reserved per group.

All reservations are time-limited and subject to availability.

 

3. Full Venue Buyouts

Buyouts are mandatory for any group of 50 or more.

 

Maximum capacity: 130 guests.

 

Cost:

$500 per hour (venue rental fee)

$1,000 per hour food & beverage minimum

All buyout bookings require a signed agreement and deposit.

 

4. Food Policy

Please see our menu for available options.

Custom event menus can be created upon request in collaboration with our GM.

 

Final menu selections must be confirmed no later than 5 days prior to the event.

 

5. Deposit & Payment Terms

All deposits are non-refundable and applied toward the final bill.

 

Final payment is due at the conclusion of the event.

Any damages or excessive cleaning fees will be charged to the group organizer.

 

6. Additional Information

Management reserves the right to approve, modify, or deny reservations based on capacity, schedule, or operational needs.

All guests must comply with house rules and age requirements.
